Events we will be enjoying in 2010
NW200
The club has an annual outing to the NW200. Accommodation usually consists of rented housing with full facilities (no tents on this trip). Having attended this event annually for the duration of the clubs existence, we are well known and welcomed into many of the drinking holes.
Kelso
The club is returning to Kelso this year to celebrate our 10 years. It promises to be a fun packed weekend of bikes, babes, dance, and drink (oh yea, and food). What else could you ask for?
Applecross Highland Games
This is now becoming the next annual outing not to be missed. A fantastic ride up to Applecross taking in some lovely roads and scenery. Once accommodation sorted (Wig-Wam or tent), it’s then off to sample the local cuisine and refreshments from the local Inn. Once the night moves in, the party starts and we are usually the few stragglers at the end of the night searching for our tents.
Aviemore
Usually the first of the annual outing to break the ice (sometimes literally). A relaxing ride up to Aviemore, followed by warm accommodation before sampling the night life. Mornings are usually greeted with mixed blessings and a more relaxing ride towards central Scotland
Ullapool and other
The long distance weekend trip. Who couldn’t travel to Ullapool and not enjoy the route. We head for the accommodation swiftly followed by food and a relaxing pint in the nearest pub. Nighlife is usually made livelier when club members seek to show off their dancing/drinking skills.
The second part of this trip will be to another centre of partying. This year, we’re planning on Inverness as the second stopover.
These are all in addition to the Sunday runs and any "Ad-Hoc" suggestions made by members that are weather dependant.
